Independent Energy & Facilities Management, Inc. was established in 1992 as a consulting engineering firm specializing in energy conservation and facilities management.
Our services have expanded to include a wide variety of mechanical and electrical engineering services for commercial, educational, industrial, institutional, and municipal facilities including: reports, studies, and building systems design.
In an effort to more accurately reflect our expanded scope of services, in 1997 we changed our name to IEFM Consulting Engineers.
We have the unique opportunity to provide current, practical, and cost effective design of mechanical and electrical systems for new and existing facilities due to our continued experience with energy conservation services associated with a wide variety of facilities.
We continue to expand our mechanical and electrical engineering services and staff at our location in Coal Valley, Illinois, located 2 miles east of the Quad City International Airport.
Growing to serve you better
